On Saturday the 7th, morning temperatures are expected to drop sharply by about 5–10 degrees from the 6th, with most areas nationwide falling below freezing.
Strong winds will make it feel even colder. Morning lows are forecast at -7 to 1 degrees, with daytime highs at 4 to 11 degrees.
Skies will be mostly clear nationwide, but the east coast of Gangwon will be cloudy. Until dawn, the east coast of Gangwon may see raindrops under 0.1 mm or flurries under 0.1 cm.
Along the east coast of North Gyeongsang and the western and eastern parts of Jeju Island, as well as some southern coasts of South Jeolla, where high wind advisories are in effect, winds may blow very strong with instantaneous speeds over 70 kph.
Fine dust levels are expected to range from "good" to "moderate" nationwide. Waves will run 0.5–3.5 meters off the East Sea, 0.5–3.0 meters off the West Sea, and 0.5–1.5 meters off the South Sea.
Wave heights in the inner offshore waters (the offshore zone within about 200 km of the coastline) are forecast at 1.0–3.5 meters for the East and West Seas and 1.0–2.5 meters for the South Sea.
