Seoul City said on the 2nd it will recruit 200 innovative companies in artificial intelligence (AI), culture and content, bio and healthcare, zero waste, and social venture fields to take part in the "youth jobs program."
The program will proceed with Seoul City selecting 500 unemployed youths and consolidation with corporations and jobs. Seoul City will cover wages for up to six months and will also sign the employment contracts.
Corporations wishing to participate can apply through the "Youth Mongttang Information" website from the 23rd to the 3rd of next month. Each corporation can apply for the desired number of placements for at least two and up to five people.
The duties assigned to youths must be organized in fields that fit actual demand at corporations and the youths' career development, such as planning, strategy, and business development; public relations, marketing, and MD; and AI, development, and data.
Once participating corporations and duties are finalized, Seoul City plans to select 500 job-seeking youths around May to June. The youths who are finally selected will be placed at corporations starting in July and work for up to six months. The monthly salary is 2.53 million won before tax.
