A man in his 60s who threw bread embedded with a fishhook at a dog park was caught by police.
According to the Korean National Police Agency on the 27th, the Naju Police Station in South Jeolla Province booked a man in his 60s, identified as A, on suspicion of attempted property damage.
A is accused of throwing bread embedded with a fishhook at the Naju Dog Park in Geumcheon-myeon, Naju, at about 6:50 a.m. on the 14th and fleeing.
A reportedly said the barking at the dog park was too loud. The dog park began a trial operation earlier this month.
It was found that no one was injured or harmed, as another visitor discovered A's bread and threw it in the trash.
Police are investigating the exact circumstances, applying the charge of attempted property damage to A on the grounds that, under the Civil Act, dogs are classified as property.
