Police are investigating additional suspected crimes by the suspect in the "Gangbuk motel serial killings," who killed two men with drinks containing drugs.
According to police on the 25th, the Seoul Gangbuk Police Station recently summoned for questioning a man in his 30s, identified as victim A, among the people suspect Kim had met.

Kim reportedly carried around hangover remedy spiked with drugs prescribed at a hospital and claimed to have given it after conflicts with victims at places such as motels.
However, investigators are leaning toward premeditated murder rather than accidental injury, considering that from the second crime Kim greatly increased the amount of drugs and searched on generative artificial intelligence (AI) ChatGPT for terms such as "lethal dose of sleeping pills" and "risks when taken after drinking."
On the 19th, Kim was sent to prosecutors in custody on charges including murder, aggravated assault, and violating the Narcotics Control Act. Police plan to send prosecutors the results of the psychopathy assessment (PCL-R) conducted on Kim as soon as they are available.
