On Sunday the 22nd, daytime temperatures in most parts of the country will be mild, above average, but rain will fall in places.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 21st, morning lows are forecast at -2 to 13 degrees, with daytime highs at 7 to 21 degrees. That is higher than the average (lows -7 to 2 degrees, highs 5 to 11 degrees).
With rain falling in most areas nationwide, it will be mostly cloudy. The southern region and Jeju Island will gradually clear from the afternoon, and the central region will gradually clear from the night.
Rain is expected from late dawn to daytime in inland Gyeonggi and inland and mountainous Gangwon (rain or snow in Gangwon's mountains), North and Central North Gyeongsang (excluding the northern East Sea coast of North Gyeongsang), western inland South Gyeongsang, and Jeju Island. In Seoul, South Chungcheong, North Jeolla, and the northern Jeolla South region, rain is forecast in the morning.
In Incheon, the Gyeonggi west coast and other parts of the Gyeongsang region, a few raindrops under 0.1 mm may fall in spots.
Expected precipitation is under 5 mm for Seoul, inland Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, Gwangju, northern South Jeolla, North Jeolla, North and Central North Gyeongsang (excluding the northern East Sea coast of North Gyeongsang), Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Jeju Island, and around 1 mm for western inland South Gyeongsang.
Winds are expected to gust to around 55 kph in most areas nationwide (around 70 kph in the mountains).
Fine dust levels are forecast to be "moderate" nationwide.
Waves will run 1.0 to 3.0 meters off the East Sea coast, 1.0 to 3.5 meters off the West Sea coast, and 0.5 to 2.5 meters off the South Sea coast.
In the inner offshore (open sea within about 200 km of the coastline), wave heights are expected at 1.5 to 5.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.5 to 3.5 meters in the South Sea.
