On Saturday the 21st, mild weather will continue nationwide, with midday highs topping 15 degrees.
As of 5 a.m. that day, temperatures were 4.0 degrees in Seoul, 6.6 in Incheon, 0.4 in Suwon, -3.5 in Chuncheon, 10.7 in Gangneung, 2.2 in Cheongju, 1.3 in Daejeon, 5.9 in Jeonju, 3.0 in Gwangju, 6.9 in Jeju, 0.6 in Daegu, 7.8 in Busan, 4.1 in Ulsan, and 4.0 in Changwon.
Forecast lows and highs for major cities are: Seoul 4 and 17; Incheon 6 and 12; Daejeon 3 and 19; Gwangju 3 and 18; Daegu 1 and 19; Ulsan 2 and 18; Busan 7 and 16. Daytime temperatures in Sangju and Yecheon, North Gyeongsang, are expected to rise to 20.
From the afternoon, strong winds with gusts around 55 km/h (15 m/s) will blow across most regions nationwide. In the Gangwon mountains, the west and east coasts, the western inland of South Chungcheong, and the northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, gusts will reach around 70 km/h (20 m/s).
Along the Gangwon east coast, eastern South Jeolla, the Gyeongsang region, and parts of southern North Chungcheong, where dry weather advisories are in effect, the air will be very dry and winds strong, so small sparks can spread into large fires. Exercise particular caution to prevent all types of fires.
Skies will be mostly clear nationwide, but the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province will see intervals of many clouds. Fine dust levels are expected to be "bad" in the Seoul metropolitan area and Yeongseo in Gangwon, and "good" to "moderate" elsewhere.
Waves will run 0.5–2.5 meters off the east coast, 0.5–3.0 meters off the west coast, and 0.5–2.0 meters off the south coast.
In the outer coastal waters (farther seas within about 200 km from the shoreline), wave heights are forecast at 1.0–3.5 meters in the East and West Seas, and 0.5–3.5 meters in the South Sea.
