Miho, a Siberian tiger being kept at Seoul Grand Park in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi, has died. Miho reportedly died after a fight with another individual.
According to Seoul Grand Park on the 20th, Miho died on the 18th, the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday.
Miho is a female Siberian tiger born at Seoul Grand Park in 2013. She is the youngest and the eldest daughter among the three siblings Sun-ho, Su-ho, and Miho.
In a memorial post on its website, Seoul Grand Park said, "Miho ultimately left us after a fight with another individual."
Seoul Grand Park also said, "In the face of this sudden parting, all employees feel indescribable sadness and a heavy sense of responsibility."
Seoul Grand Park added, "She was a tiger who always moved people and brought happiness to many citizens with her beautiful presence," and "Above all, she liked people and was very affectionate, always approaching first, making eye contact, and greeting them—a special tiger who enjoyed bonding with people."
The exact cause of Miho's death is under investigation.
Meanwhile, Miho's older brother Su-ho died in 2023 from heart disease and heatstroke.
