The Korea Meteorological Administration said Thursday the 12th will be mostly clear nationwide. Morning lows are forecast at -7 to 2 degrees, with daytime highs of 7 to 13 degrees, making the midday feel mild. However, fine dust concentrations will be high, mainly in the central region.
Thick fog is expected in the central region and the Jeolla and Gyeongsang inland areas, and dry weather advisories are in effect for the Gangwon east coast and mountains and the Gyeongsang region, so caution is needed against fires.
At sea, waves are expected to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters off the East Sea and 0.5 to 1.0 meters off the West and South Seas. In the distant seas within about 200 kilometers of the coastline, wave heights are expected at 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
