Hotel Shilla President Lee Boo-jin was spotted attending the high school graduation ceremony of her son, Im Dong-hyun. Visiting the school venue, Lee watched the performances and applauded, and she waved to her son from a distance, cheerfully congratulating him on his graduation.
Lee visited the graduation ceremony at Whimoon High School in Gangnam District, Seoul, on Feb. 9. Her aunt, Hong Ra-young, former deputy director-general of the Leeum Museum of Art, accompanied her. The ceremony began around 9:35 a.m. with a pre-ceremony performance and ran for about an hour.
Im and his friends took the stage and reportedly sang "Never Ending Story" by the band Boohwal and "To You" by Shin Hae-chul. Lee watched from the audience, applauding and waving toward the stage.
Im attended Seoul Gyeonggi Elementary School, then continued his studies at Whimoon Middle School and Whimoon High School. He recently drew attention after reportedly earning strong scores on the College Scholastic Ability Test and being admitted to the economics department at Seoul National University.
On the 2nd, he reportedly spoke as a lecturer at a grade management briefing session for prospective first-year high school students at a private cram school in Daechi-dong, Gangnam District, Seoul, giving a talk titled "A Whimoon life without regrets." Im also shared his experience, saying, "I recommend completely cutting off smartphones and games for three years," noting that it helped with concentration and immersion.
