Actor Ha Do-kwon will go under the knife in the middle of a performance.
Ha Do-kwon said on the 22nd on Instagram, "A recent checkup found an abnormality in my body, and the tests showed I couldn't postpone surgery, so I inevitably had to be hospitalized during the run."
In the photo released with the post, Ha Do-kwon, wearing a patient gown and sitting on a hospital bed, gives a thumbs-up to reassure fans. He added, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience for the performances on the 23rd and 24th," and "I'll recover well and return in good health."
Fellow entertainers, including actors Lee Si-eon and Park Gwang-jae, left concerned comments, and fans are also sending messages of support wishing a speedy recovery.
A Seoul National University voice major, Ha Do-kwon debuted in 2004 with the musical "Beauty and the Beast," and won the supporting actor award in the team category at the SBS Drama Awards for the 2020 drama "Stove League."
