Sunday the 18th will be mostly clear and mild nationwide. Morning lows are forecast at minus 7 to 4 degrees Celsius, with afternoon highs at 4 to 14 degrees.
Temperatures will be somewhat above normal through the morning of the 19th, but some areas, mainly in the south, will drop below freezing in the morning and feel chilly.
Fine dust levels are expected to remain at "good" to "moderate" nationwide due to clean airflows that moved in since the previous day.
The country will be mostly sunny, then gradually turn cloudy from the afternoon, with rain or snow starting in the late afternoon along the northern east coast of Gangwon and the northern mountains.
The air will be very dry, especially along the east coast, requiring extra caution to prevent wildfires and other blazes. Also, as temperatures rise, ice on rivers, lakes, reservoirs and streams may thin, so heed safety to avoid accidents.
Waves will run 0.5–2.0 meters off the East Sea and 0.5–1.0 meters off the West and South seas, with wave heights on the outer inner seas expected at 1.0–2.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5–2.0 meters in the West and South seas.
