Yoon & Yang LLC (representative attorney Lee Myung-soo) saw last year's revenue increase 12.5% from the previous year.
Yoon & Yang said, "Based on National Tax Service value-added taxes filing amounts, 2025 revenue was 281.2 billion won, up 12.5% from the previous year (250 billion won)." Revenue, which was 208.2 billion won in 2023, rose 20% to 250 billion won in 2024, then surged 35% in two years.
Including its affiliated firm and overseas offices, last year's total revenue was 301.2 billion won, topping the 300 billion won range for the first time. Yoon & Yang said revenue per lawyer (RPL) was 762 million won, the highest among major law firms.
A Yoon & Yang official said, "We invested aggressively in recruiting talent last year, but maintained a high-efficiency revenue structure through selection and focus," adding, "Selective hiring helped steadily lift productivity indicators across the board."
Yoon & Yang said performance growth was driven by an increase in major cases in the financial regulation and litigation institutional sector last year. It won a lawsuit seeking the return of a 250 billion won deposit while representing Asiana Airlines, and said it defended Samsung C&T management in the Samsung C&T–Cheil Industries merger-related case to secure not-guilty verdicts at all levels of trial. In lawsuits over incomplete sales of ELS, it represented commercial banks to have all investor claims dismissed, continuing results across the financial disputes landscape.
Major mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory mandates Yoon & Yang handled last year included the roughly 20 trillion won comprehensive stock swap acquisition transaction between Naver and Dunamu, the sale of Hyosung Chemical's Neochem business unit, and advising Hanwha Life Insurance on acquiring the U.S. securities firm Velocity.
