Sejong LLC (chief attorney Oh Jong-han) said last year's revenue grew 18% from a year earlier, marking the highest performance since its founding.
On the 15th, Sejong said, "Based on National Tax Service value-added taxes filing amounts, 2025 revenue was 436.3 billion won, up 18% from a year earlier," adding, "Revenue in 2024 rose 16%, and over the past two years revenue increased by more than 110 billion won."
According to Sejong, the law firm's revenue grew 93% over five years, from 226.5 billion won in 2020 to 436.3 billion won in 2025. It explained that growth accelerated after chief attorney Oh Jong-han took office in 2021, as talent recruitment and organizational capability building gained momentum. In particular, revenue rose noticeably in M&A, ICT (cybersecurity), corporations litigation, taxes, and fair trade.
In M&A, advisory work expanded for trillion-won scale large transactions, including the merger of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries and HD Hyundai Mipo, and the establishment of a joint venture between AliExpress and Shinsegae Group's online platform. Sejong said that in corporations litigation, handling major civil and criminal cases, such as representing the Young Poong–MBK side in the management control dispute at Korea Zinc, also contributed to revenue growth.
In taxes and fair trade, it said the addition of external experts upgraded execution capabilities, leading to an expansion in mandates for large cases.
Chief attorney Oh Jong-han said, "This performance is not merely external growth; it is the result of the market recognizing the expertise and comprehensive capabilities Sejong has accumulated," adding, "We will proactively respond to the changing legal and industrial environment and strengthen our integrated advisory capabilities to resolve clients' complex risks through one-stop service."
