Two men in their 20s who shot arrows near a woman walking her dog have been booked.
On the 9th, the Cheongju Cheongwon Police Station said it booked without detention two men in their 20s on suspicion of aggravated assault for shooting arrows near a woman walking her dog and notified them to appear.
Police said they identified the men the previous evening and went to their residences but found them absent, and, after contacting them to demand their appearance, had not yet received a response.
The incident occurred at about 11:40 p.m. on the 7th. A and others are suspected of firing a bow near B, a woman in her 50s who was walking with a dog at Youth Square in Sangdang District, Cheongju.
At the time, the arrow lodged in a plaza flower bed 1.5 meters from the dog and 2.5 meters from B. The arrow was 80 centimeters long with a metal arrowhead.
Nearby CCTV captured them taking a bow out of the trunk of a car parked along a roadside about 70 meters away and drawing the string.
Police believe they committed the crime after drinking at a nearby restaurant. Police said that if A and the others do not comply with the summons, they plan to seek arrest warrants.
