Law firm Daeryook & AJU (chief managing attorney Lee Gyu-cheol) said last year's revenue topped 100 billion won for the first time since its founding.
Daeryook & AJU's revenue last year was 102.7672 billion won, up 10.1% from 93.33135 billion won a year earlier.
Daeryook & AJU posted revenue of 11 billion won from the patent firm, 800 million won from the tariff firm, 576.95 million won from D&A Advisory, and 129.84 million won from AJU Corporate Management Research Institute. Including these, total revenue was 115.27399 billion won.
A Daeryook & AJU official said, "We maintained strength not only in traditional litigation and advisory areas such as personnel and labor and fair trade, but also in international practice," and noted, "We responded quickly to new business areas such as serious industrial accidents and nuclear power."
As of December last year, Daeryook & AJU had 247 attorneys, with revenue per attorney at 416.06 million won. The firm had 244 attorneys in 2024. While the number of attorneys grew 5.3%, revenue increased by 10.1%, roughly double the pace. A Daeryook & AJU official analyzed that "it proved effective to reorganize the organization from team units to group units to build a 'one-stop total legal service' system."
Chief managing attorney Lee Gyu-cheol said, "Breaking through 100 billion won in revenue proves that Daeryook & AJU is on a sustainable growth trajectory based on clients' trust," and added, "This year we will comprehensively recruit top-tier talent in each field to elevate Daeryook & AJU (D&A) into a top-flight law firm."
