Lee Su-jin, a dentist from Seoul National University and influencer, shared how she felt after closing her clinic.
On the 6th, Lee said on her social media (SNS), "I'm probably the only human who draws interest by saying I went bust at 58 and take the bus."
In the video she posted, Lee sat at a bus stop and flashed a V sign with her fingers.
She added, "See you soon on the live," and "I know these days half the people are thrilled I went bust, and the other half are coming to gawk."
She later said on a YouTube live broadcast, "All my relationships were cut off, my money was gone, and my health dropped to 40% lung function."
"I couldn't go outside for a year," she said. "These days, just being able to walk around outside is something I'm grateful for."
Born in 1969, Lee Su-jin graduated from the Seoul National University School of Dentistry and ran a dental clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, while also working as an influencer. Since 2023, Lee has said she has been a victim of stalking.
Then last year, during the process of closing the clinic, she was embroiled in allegations of "dining and dashing" for allegedly not refunding prepaid treatment fees. Lee explained, "I had no choice but to close the dental clinic under death threats from a stalker, and the refunds were delayed."
