The production team of the Netflix original variety show "Culinary Class Wars: Chef Class War" season 2 said it will respond strongly to excessive slander targeting cast members.
On the 6th, Studio Slam, the producer of "Culinary Class Wars 2," wrote on its official social media (SNS) account, "There have been cases of personal attacks and malicious comments aimed at specific cast chefs and even messages sent to defame them on their personal SNS accounts," adding, "These actions not only seriously damage the honor of chefs who have devoted their lives to cooking but also leave deep wounds that are difficult to heal for the non-celebrity cast members."
It added, "To ensure that the chefs who took part in the competition with a pure passion for cooking no longer suffer harm, we are collecting evidence of malicious slander and defamation and will take strong legal action without leniency against verified posts and message authors."
It continued, "Your mature viewing culture and consideration are the greatest strength in protecting the chefs and keeping the program going," adding, "We earnestly ask that you refrain from indiscriminate criticism and personal insults that go beyond healthy critique."
Meanwhile, "Culinary Class Wars 2" is released on Netflix every Tuesday at 5 p.m.
