Lee Sang-min, a former member of the co-ed group Roo'Ra and a music producer, refuted former Roo'Ra colleague Shin Jeong-hwan's remarks about payments.
On the 4th, Lee wrote on his social media (SNS), "No, I was also an artist under an agency—how would I settle anyone's accounts? All members were paid the same," adding, "I wasn't Roo'Ra's boss. I got paid the same and worked twice as much. I was a Roo'Ra member full of passion."
Earlier, on the 2nd on the YouTube channel "B-grade Studio," Shin claimed, "It may look like Roo'Ra did well, but we never got proper payments. We got 12 million won every five years."
He continued, "At the time, Lee Sang-min was the producer. Sang-min hyung slightly boosted us with the first album and then sold us to a company. He sold us for a markup. He focused on Chakra."
He added, "On the surface we were a successful team, but personally I never felt like I was making money," expressing the difficulties of that time.
