Prosecutors have indicted without detention Song Min-ho (32) of the group "Winner," who faces allegations of performing his duties poorly as a social service agent.
The Criminal Division 1 of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office (headed by Chief Prosecutor Won Shin-hye) said on the 31st that it indicted without detention Song Min-ho and A, the supervisor who managed his service, on charges of violating the Military Service Act.
From March 2023 to December last year, while working as a social service agent at a facility in Mapo District, Song Min-ho was embroiled in controversy for neglecting his duties, including failing to report to work properly.
Prosecutors secured evidence, including cell phone forensics and GPS records, and conducted supplementary investigations directly. In addition to the criminal facts previously forwarded by police, it was found that Song Min-ho additionally took unauthorized absences.
Song Min-ho is known to have largely admitted to leaving his post during working hours.
A prosecution official said, "We will make every effort to maintain the indictment so that punishments commensurate with the defendants' crimes can be imposed, and we will continue to respond strictly to violations of military service obligations."
