Police currently investigating suspicions of illegal medical practice by broadcaster Park Na-rae, 40, have placed an overseas travel ban on a woman known as the "injection aunt."
Seoul Gangnam Police Station said on the 31st that it recently banned overseas travel by a non-medical worker surnamed Lee, who is accused of violating the Medical Service Act, the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, and the Narcotics Control Act regarding psychotropics.
Lee is accused of administering IV drips and prescribing antidepressants to Park Na-rae in an officetel and a vehicle without a domestic medical license, engaging in illegal medical procedures.
In addition to Park Na-rae, it is known that she conducted house calls for YouTuber "Short Mouth Sun" (real name Kim Mi-kyung, 44), who has 1.7 million subscribers, and SHINee member Key (real name Kim Ki-bum, 34).
On the 6th, former Korean Medical Association Organization President Lim Hyun-taek filed a complaint against Lee with prosecutors, and the case was transferred to police.
