It is expected to be cold on the morning of Saturday the 27th as temperatures will be low. Also, rain or snow will fall mainly in the central region.
A cold wave advisory was issued for parts of the central region and inland North Gyeongsang due to cold air moving south from the northwest. Morning lows will drop to below minus 10 degrees Celsius mainly in the central inland, eastern North Jeolla, and inland North Gyeongsang.
Inland northern Gyeonggi, inland and mountainous Gangwon, and northern North Chungcheong are forecast to be around minus 15 degrees.
As of 5 a.m., the temperatures are Seoul -6.7 degrees, Incheon -6.3 degrees, Suwon -6.3 degrees, Chuncheon -11.1 degrees, Gangneung -4.0 degrees, Cheongju -6.4 degrees, Daejeon -7.6 degrees, Jeonju -6.3 degrees, Gwangju -5.1 degrees, Jeju 2.9 degrees, Daegu -4.3 degrees, Busan -4.2 degrees, Ulsan -4.7 degrees, and Changwon -3.8 degrees.
From the afternoon, temperatures will gradually rise to 0–8 degrees.
From morning to afternoon, a little rain or snow will fall and accumulate in some places in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi and parts of northern Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, and the Chungcheong region.
In particular, southern inland Gangwon and the Chungcheong region will see snow in some places through the night, and northern North Jeolla will have rain or snow in some areas late at night.
Expected snowfall is around 1 cm in Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, and northeastern inland North Jeolla, and less than 1 cm in Seoul and northern Gyeonggi.
Expected precipitation is less than 5 mm on the South Chungcheong west coast, and around 1 mm in Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, southern inland Gangwon, Daejeon, Sejong, South Chungcheong, North Chungcheong, and northern North Jeolla.
Fine dust levels are expected to be "good" to "moderate" in all regions due to favorable atmospheric dispersion.
Waves will run 0.5–2.5 meters off the east coast, 0.5–1.0 meters off the west coast, and 0.5–1.5 meters off the south coast.
In open seas within about 200 km of the coastline, wave heights are forecast at 1.0–3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5–2.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5–2.5 meters in the South Sea.
