Cold air will move south on Sunday the 21st, bringing strong winds and making it feel chilly. Morning temperatures in the capital area will drop below freezing.
As of 6 a.m. that day, temperatures were -2.0 degrees in Seoul, -1.8 degrees in Incheon, and -1.4 degrees in Suwon. Other areas recorded -4.9 degrees in Chuncheon, 2.0 degrees in Gangneung, 0.0 degrees in Cheongju, -1.3 degrees in Daejeon, 0.7 degrees in Jeonju, 3.9 degrees in Gwangju, 3.7 degrees in Daegu, 7.8 degrees in Busan, 5.8 degrees in Ulsan, 6.1 degrees in Changwon, and 8.0 degrees in Jeju.
According to the Korea meteorological Administration, morning temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees lower than the day before, and strong winds will make it feel even colder. Daytime highs are forecast at 0 to 8 degrees.
Fine dust concentrations are forecast to be at "good" to "moderate" levels across all regions.
The cold is expected to continue on the 22nd. According to the Korea meteorological Administration, morning temperatures on the 22nd will drop to around -5 degrees, mainly in inland areas nationwide.
