Lee, 23, appeared in court for a detention review on charges of beating her mother in her 50s to death.
Lee, 23, underwent a pretrial detention hearing for a parricide case at the Seoul Southern District Court that morning.
Before entering the court, when asked by reporters, "Do you admit to the murder charges?" Lee answered, "Yes."
To the question, "Do you have anything to say to the remaining family members?" Lee said, "Because I'm stupid…" Lee did not answer questions such as whether "treatment for delusions of grandeur continued."
Lee is accused of beating her mother in her 50s to death with a blunt object and a knife at her home in Guro-dong, Guro District, at about 6 p.m. on the 13th.
At the time, Lee was reportedly apprehended by police who responded to her father's report and admitted to the crime.
In March, Lee was also admitted on an emergency basis after carrying a weapon and behaving delusionally but was discharged based on the hospital's judgment.
