On Incheon-daero, a Lamborghini crossed the center line and crashed into three oncoming vehicles. Because of the crash, fuel leaked from the vehicles, and two of the four lanes in both directions are being closed to traffic.
At about 2:32 p.m. on the 14th, near the Dohwa IC on Incheon-daero in Dohwa-dong, Michuhol-gu, Incheon, a Lamborghini crossed the center line and hit three oncoming vehicles, including a Porsche and a Ford.
Because of the crash, fuel leaked from the Lamborghini and Porsche, and two of the four lanes in both directions are being closed to traffic. After the crash, Michuhol-gu sent a safety text message saying, "Traffic is being controlled due to a fuel leak, so please check traffic information and take a detour."
Police are investigating the circumstances of the Lamborghini that was heading from Seoul toward Incheon. In a police interview, a person surnamed A reportedly said, "The road was slippery, so the car crossed (the center line)." A was found not to be intoxicated or driving without a license.
In the crash, the Lamborghini driver, A, 30, and a passenger reportedly complained of wrist and back pain and are receiving treatment.
The Incheon Metropolitan City General Construction Headquarters and the fire authorities plan to clear the fuel spilled on the road and resume traffic.
