Snow or rain is forecast nationwide on Saturday the 13th. Up to 15 centimeters of snow will accumulate in the inland central region.
The Korea meteorological Administration said that while the country will be cloudy, snow or rain will fall in the central region, eastern inland of Jeolla, North Gyeongsang, western inland of South Gyeongsang, and the mountainous areas of Jeju Island between morning and night.
Expected snowfall by region is as follows: ▲ Gangwon inland and mountains 5–10 cm (more than 15 cm in some areas) ▲ northern inland and southeastern Gyeonggi 3–10 cm ▲ central and northern North Chungcheong 3–8 cm (more than 10 cm in some areas) ▲ Seoul, northeastern North Jeolla, northern inland and northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island 2–7 cm ▲ Incheon, southwestern Gyeonggi, northwestern coast of Gyeonggi and the five West Sea islands, the Chungcheong region (excluding central and northern North Chungcheong), and southeastern North Jeolla 1–5 cm ▲ western inland of South Gyeongsang 1–3 cm ▲ Daegu and central inland of North Gyeongsang 1 cm.
Expected precipitation is as follows: ▲ Jeju Island 5–20 mm ▲ the Chungcheong region and Gangwon inland and mountains 5–15 mm ▲ the Seoul metropolitan area, Jeolla region, Daegu, North Gyeongsang, Ulleung Island, and Dokdo 5–10 mm ▲ the east coast of Gangwon, Busan, Ulsan, and South Gyeongsang 5 mm.
