The rest of the country will also stay below freezing as morning temperatures drop by 5 to 10 degrees. Forecast lows and highs for major cities are Seoul -3 and 7, Incheon -5 and 5, Daejeon -4 and 8, Gwangju -1 and 11, Daegu -1 and 8, Ulsan 3 and 8, and Busan 3 and 11.
Temperatures will drop quickly and strong winds will make it feel much colder. Most areas will see strong winds through the 12th with peak gusts of 55 kph (70 kph in the mountains), and winds will be especially strong through the morning in areas under high wind advisories such as the South Chungcheong west coast, the Jeolla coast, and western Jeju, with peak gusts exceeding 70 kph (20 m/s).
Some areas will see rain or snow. Rain or snow is forecast through the morning for the Gangwon east coast and mountains, and the North Gyeongsang east coast and northeastern mountains. Ulsan will also see rain or snow between pre-dawn and morning. Busan may get a few raindrops or flurries. Expected snowfall is 3 to 8 centimeters (more than 10 centimeters at most) in the Gangwon mountains and east coast, 1 to 5 centimeters in the northeastern mountains of North Gyeongsang, 1 to 3 centimeters on Ulleung Island, Dokdo, and the northern East Sea coast of North Gyeongsang, and around 1 centimeter in Ulsan and the southern East Sea coast of South Gyeongsang.
