Seong Sang-uk (Judicial Research and Training Institute, Class 32), former head of the Cheonan Branch of the District Prosecutors' Office, has joined Law Firm Robex as managing partner.
According to Robex on the 9th, Seong graduated from Baejeong High School in Busan and Seoul National University School of Law, and completed the graduate program in law at the same university. Appointed as a prosecutor at the Suwon District Prosecutors' Office in 2003, Seong served in the Special Investigations Division of the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office and the Changwon District Prosecutors' Office; the Violent Crimes Division of the Incheon District Prosecutors' Office; the Financial Crimes Investigation Division of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office; deputy chief prosecutor of the Cheongju District Prosecutors' Office; head of the Jangheung Branch of the Gwangju District Prosecutors' Office; chief prosecutor of the Goyang Branch of the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors' Office and of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office; and Vice Administrator of the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office.
Seong served as the Investigation Information Division 2 officer at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office in 2019 and, after expressing intent to resign in Aug. 2025, opened a law practice last month.
