Starting on the 8th and running through Feb. 7, the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (MPVA) will accept applications for commendations for those who contributed to the April 19 Revolution.
According to the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (MPVA) on the 7th, applications can be submitted by mail or by visiting the competent veterans affairs office. Application methods and required documents are available on the MPVA website.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (MPVA) plans to confer the awards on the April 19 Revolution anniversary next year after deliberation by the Meritorious Service Review Committee and consultations with related agencies.
Since the first commendations in 1962, there have been 12 rounds of reviews, and a total of 1,164 people have been honored for contributions to the April 19 Revolution, including 186 who died, 363 who were injured, and 615 who rendered distinguished service.
