Entertainer Park Na-rae, 40, who faces allegations of abusing managers, has been booked by police on charges including injury.
Seoul Gangnam Police Station said on Jan. 5 that it received a complaint via the National Petition System calling for an investigation of Park on charges including aggravated injury, injury, and violations of the Medical Service Act and the Popular Culture Industry Act.
The accused are Park; Park's mother, a person surnamed Ko; the single-person agency corporation Park belongs to; an unidentified medical professional; and a former manager.
Park's former managers reportedly claimed Park made them run errands for side dishes, clean up after parties, and forced drinking gatherings, keeping them on standby 24 hours a day. They filed for a provisional attachment of real estate on Jan. 3 with the Seoul Western District Court.
Meanwhile, Park's one-person agency has also come under fire after it was revealed that it was not registered as a popular culture and arts planning business operator.
