A civil servant accused of abuse of power for forcing sanitation workers to assault each other in a so-called "martial law game" remained tight-lipped in court.

A appeared for the review at about 1:25 p.m. that day. Wearing a padded jacket hood pulled low to cover the entire face, A gave no answers to questions from reporters such as, "Do you still think it was a prank?" and "What do you think about the victims' contracts expiring soon?"
A is suspected of workplace bullying, including assault and coercion, against sanitation workers employed as public officials on fixed-term contracts and as temporary workers. While playing the so-called "martial law game," A allegedly forced mutual assault and set off without letting them ride the garbage truck, making them run.
A also allegedly forced the person who lost rock-paper-scissors to commit an assault when stocks A had invested in incurred losses, and demanded that others buy the stocks A had invested in. It is also reported that, citing the fact that rising stock prices are marked in red, A carried out bizarre behavior by forcing them to wear red underwear.
Earlier, after booking A on charges of coercion, police searched three locations on the 27th, including Yangyang County Office and the civil servant's residence and workplace. They then completed the first summons investigation on the 2nd and requested an arrest warrant on the 3rd.
