A roof structure blown by strong winds crashed onto several parked vehicles.
According to fire authorities on the 1st, at about 2:53 a.m. that day, a roof structure was blown off by strong winds and fell into a parking lot at an apartment complex in Gyodong, Sokcho, Gangwon Province. Six vehicles were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
Fire authorities responded to the scene, removed the damaged structure, and took safety measures, including setting up access control lines to block additional risks. It was then handed over to the apartment's management.
A high wind advisory is currently in effect for six cities and counties along the East Sea coast, including Sokcho. Fire authorities are urging caution against facility damage and falling debris.
