Daytime temperatures will rise above average this weekend, bringing mild weather, but from the middle of next week temperatures are expected to drop sharply with a deep freeze.
According to the Korea meteorological Administration on the 29th, on Monday, Dec. 1, the morning low will be 2–11 degrees and the daytime high 7–17 degrees, which is expected to be above average. However, starting Tuesday the 2nd, under the influence of a cold continental high expanding from northern China, temperatures are expected to plunge with strong winds.
On Wednesday the 3rd and on the 4th, the nationwide morning low will be minus 10 to 0 degrees, and the daytime temperature minus 2 to 9 degrees, which is expected to be below average. After that, the morning low will recover to a similar level to the average at minus 7 to 6 degrees, and the daytime temperature to 0 to 13 degrees.
On the 3rd, there is also forecast rain or snow in the Chungnam region and the Jeolla region. Jeju Island is forecast to see rain from the 3rd through the morning of the 4th.
