More than 20,000 people flocked to an event that pays double wages to a 12th grader who finished the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) and is about to start a first part-time job.
According to Albacheon-guk on the 24th, participants in the CSAT support promotion "First part-time job is heaven" surpassed a cumulative 20,000 just one week after the promotion began.
A student who takes part in this promotion can receive an "part-time job support fund" equal to the amount earned from the part-time job. In effect, it means they can receive double pay.
This promotion is in its seventh year. Albacheon-guk has run a wage support program for 12th graders every year since 2019. Over the past three years, more than 40,000 have participated annually, making it a flagship post-CSAT event.
Any 12th-grade member born in 2007 who found a part-time job through Albacheon-guk can participate. A total of 200 people will receive 2 billion won in encouragement funds for part-time jobs. The number of recipients doubled from last year. The maximum amount per person is 1 million won, and the final selections will be announced in Jan. next year.
