Chungcheongbuk-do said on the 20th that it will host AI Festa 2025 at Cheongju OSCO for three days and two nights from the 25th to Thursday the 27th, together with Cheongju City and the Chungbuk Institute of Science and Technology.
Held under the slogan "AI-centered Chungbuk, Cheongju opening the future!," the event will bring together more than 50 corporations and institutions, including major domestic and overseas corporations such as MS Korea, KT and EcoPro, as well as innovative corporations in the province.
The event consists of programs such as: ▲ AI·SW convergence technology exhibition ▲ global forum and seminars ▲ AI experience zone.
At the exhibition hall, MS Korea, KT, EcoPro, and outstanding Chungbuk digital corporations will take part to showcase the latest technologies and products such as AI Semiconductor, Digital Twin, robots, and smart factories.
The opening ceremony, which begins at 1:30 p.m. on the 25th, will start with an opening video using AI technology, "Chungbuk's future through AI." The ceremony will continue by applying AI technology, including introducing guests with an AI avatar.
During the event, a variety of networking programs will run, including the Chungbuk DX seminar, the information security and Blockchain seminar, and the Chungbu region AX industrial innovation roundtable. Hands-on content that visitors can participate in directly, such as AI composition experiences, will also be offered in diverse formats.
Kim Young-hwan, the Chungcheongbuk-do governor, said, "AI Festa 2025 is the fruit of Chungbuk's digital transformation strategy and will be a venue where industries and residents can experience the potential of AI technology together," adding, "We will expand AI technology across industrial worksites in the province through cooperation with leading domestic and overseas corporations going forward."
