A man in his 30s accused of breaking into the home of actor Nana, formerly of the group After School, and committing a robbery has reportedly been arrested and detained.
Guri Police Station in Gyeonggi Province said on the 17th that it had arrested and detained a man in his 30s, identified as A, on charges of aggravated robbery and injury.
According to police, the Namyangju branch of the Uijeongbu District Court held a pre-arrest warrant hearing on the 16th and issued an arrest warrant, saying, "Given the seriousness of the alleged crime, there is a risk of flight."
A is suspected of entering a luxury low-rise apartment in Acheondong, Guri, around 6 a.m. on the 15th with a weapon, threatening Lim and Lim's mother, and demanding money.
Lim and Lim's mother are said to have overpowered A after a physical struggle and immediately reported it to police.
When police and others responding to the report arrived at the scene, A was injured, they said. A was transported to a hospital for treatment.
During the process of subduing A, Lim and Lim's mother were also injured. Lim's mother was unconscious but regained consciousness after receiving treatment, according to reports. Lim was also treated at a hospital.
