On the 12th, a week after the Ulsan thermal power plant collapse, one more buried body was recovered.
Fire authorities recovered the body of a man in his 60s from the debris of boiler tower Unit 5 at about 5:19 a.m. that day. This buried worker had been missing, and the location was identified at about 10:14 p.m. the previous day. Fire authorities were able to recover the body after removing debris overnight.
Of the seven people buried in this accident, the official death toll has increased to five. Of the remaining two, the location of one has been identified, and the other has not yet been found.
On the 6th, at the Ulsan thermal power plant, the boiler tower collapsed during dismantling work on the boiler tower, burying seven of the nine workers who were carrying out the demolition.
