Fire authorities on the morning of the 9th recovered one more body at the site of the boiler tower collapse at the Ulsan Thermal Power Plant.
The recovered body was confirmed to be a person surnamed Kim, 44, who had an arm trapped in the structure, survived while waiting for rescue, and ultimately died at dawn on the 7th.
At about 2:02 p.m. on the 6th, a boiler tower collapsed at the Ulsan Thermal Power Plant at the Ulsan Generation Headquarters of Korea East-West Power (EWP) in Namhwadong, Nam-gu, Ulsan. There were nine workers on site at the time, and seven were buried.
Including the body recovered this time, fire authorities have recovered three bodies out of a total of seven people buried. At the scene of the accident, two are presumed dead and two are still missing and buried.
