Yoon & Yang LLC (Managing Partner Lee Myung-soo) said on the 5th that it has brought on adviser Yoon Ji-hoon, who served as the presidential personnel secretary at the Moon Jae-in administration's Blue House. It also hired as an adviser Lee Soo-young, former CEO of EMK, who is regarded as an expert in AI infrastructure and energy industry strategy.
Adviser Yoon Ji-hoon graduated from the Department of Theology at Yonsei University and majored in sociology at the Graduate School of Sungkonghoe University. After serving as chief aide in 2013 in lawmaker Park Nam-chun's office, Yoon was appointed in 2017 as a senior administrator in the Blue House's State Affairs Situation Room and Presidential Personnel Secretary's Office with the launch of the Moon Jae-in administration. In 2020, Yoon was appointed presidential personnel secretary in the Senior Presidential Secretary for Personnel Office. Yoon later worked as head of strategy and other roles in the floor leader offices of Hong Ik-pyo and Park Chan-dae of the Democratic Party of Korea.
Adviser Lee Soo-young has worked for more than 20 years as a professional manager in foundational infrastructure for the AI industry, including fuel cells, new and renewable energy, and energy efficiency. Lee currently serves as an outside director of LG Co., Ltd. and Chairperson of the ESG Committee, and as Chairperson of the National Green Certification Deliberation Committee.
The two will be involved in AI infrastructure, energy strategy, policy and legislative response, and new business investment and M&A advisory work.
