The Ministry of Personnel Management said on the 3rd it will accept applications for open recruitment for open positions in Nov. this year through the 13th.
There are 22 positions in this call. Fifteen Director General-level posts and seven Director-level posts will be filled across 16 ministries, including the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Senior Executive Service positions at the bureau and director general level include: ▲ head of Korea Post at the Ministry of Science and ICT ▲ director of the National Gugak Center at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) ▲ director of the National Institute of Fisheries Science and head of the Donghae Fisheries Research Institute at the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries ▲ minister-counselor at the Embassy in Russia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ▲ Inspector General at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs ▲ Inspector General at the Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment ▲ standing committee member at the Busan Regional Labor Relations Commission and standing committee member at the Gyeonggi Regional Labor Relations Commission at the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL).
Director-level posts to be selected are: ▲ director of the Cheongju National Museum under the National Museum of Korea at the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) ▲ head of the ophthalmology and otorhinolaryngology department at the National Sorokdo Hospital at the Ministry of Health and Welfare ▲ secretariat chief at the Chungnam Regional Labor Relations Commission and secretariat chief at the Gyeongbuk Regional Labor Relations Commission at the Ministry of Employment and Labor ▲ Director for Public Relations at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS).
Among these, the career open positions are open only to private-sector talent. The Ministry of Personnel Management will accept application documents through the 13th and will announce the test schedule in Nov.–Dec. Hiring will follow through procedures such as document screening, interviews, and competency assessments.
