On Friday the 31st, the country will be mostly cloudy with large temperature swings between day and night.
Jeju Island will see some rain from late dawn to morning, and parts of the Seoul metropolitan area, the northern inland of Gangwon, and the northern west coast of South Chungcheong will see rain at night.
Expected rainfall from the 31st to the 1st is 5–10 mm on the Incheon and Gyeonggi west coast, around 5 mm in Seoul, inland Gyeonggi, and Gangwon Province, and around 5–20 mm on Jeju Island.
Morning lows are forecast at 5–13 C, with daytime highs at 17–22 C. Centered on inland areas, the temperature difference between day and night will be around 10 degrees, so take care of your health.
By region, lows and highs will be Seoul 10 C and 19 C, Incheon 11 C and 18 C, Daejeon 7 C and 20 C, Gwangju 10 C and 20 C, Daegu 8 C and 19 C, Ulsan 10 C and 18 C, and Busan 13 C and 21 C.
From dawn to morning, dense fog is expected in parts of southeastern Gyeonggi and inland areas of the Chungcheong region. In the seas off the West Sea and around Jeju, there may be thunder and lightning with gusty winds, so pay attention to maritime safety.
Waves will run 0.5–1.5 meters off the East and South seas and 0.5–1.0 meters off the West Sea. Significant wave heights in the inner offshore waters (the offshore area within about 200 km of the coastline) are expected at 0.5–2.0 meters in the East and South seas and 0.5–1.5 meters in the West Sea.
