Lee & Ko said on the 21st that it has hired former Constitutional Court Secretary-General Kim Jeong-won (Judicial Research and Training Institute Class 19).
Attorney Kim Jeong-won graduated from Yongsan High School in Seoul and the Department of Law at Seoul National University and earned a master's degree in law from the same graduate school. Kim was appointed as a judge at the Jeonju District Court and served at the Seoul High Court, as a professor at the Judicial Research and Training Institute, and as a presiding judge at the Seoul Northern District Court. In 2012, Kim moved to the Constitutional Court and served as Senior Director General Research Judge, Chief Director General Research Judge, Deputy Secretary-General (Vice Minister level), and Secretary-General (Minister level).
Attorney Kim Jeong-won is scheduled to handle constitutional litigation and legislative advisory work in Lee & Ko's litigation group.
