Of the 709 government computer systems that were halted due to the fire at the Daejeon headquarters of the National Information Resources Service (NIRS), 373 have been restored.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters said as of 6 p.m. on Oct. 19, the number of restored systems increased by five from noon to a total of 373. The recovery rate so far is 52.6%.
By grade, the recovery rates are: Grade 1, 31 systems (77.5%); Grade 2, 44 systems (64.7%); Grade 3, 153 systems (58.6%); and Grade 4, 145 systems (42.6%).
Newly restored systems this time include the Ministry of Science and ICT's Presidential Advisory Council on Science & Technology website, the audit information sharing and work portal, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's data quality management system, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance's English website.
