On Monday the 20th, morning lows across most of the country will drop to single digits Celsius, bringing early winter weather.
According to the Korea meteorological Administration on the 19th, morning lows on the 20th are forecast at 2–14 degrees. This is lower than not only the 10.0–18.6 degrees (℃) on the 19th, but also the average morning lows of 4.9–14.2 degrees.
By major region, Seoul is expected at 5 degrees; Incheon and Suwon 4 degrees; Chuncheon and Jeonju 7 degrees; Daejeon and Sejong 5 degrees; Gwangju 8 degrees; Daegu 9 degrees; Busan 14 degrees; and Jeju 15 degrees.
However, the cold will gradually ease from the afternoon, with nationwide daytime highs rising to 12–22 degrees.
In the central region and North Gyeongsang, it will gradually become cloudy from the morning, while the rest of the southern region and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy at times.
There will be places with rain in Yeongdong, Gangwon from the morning; along the East Sea coast of North Gyeongsang and in the northeastern highlands of North Gyeongsang from early morning; and in the eastern part of South Gyeongsang from the afternoon.
In the high mountains above 1,200 meters in northern Gangwon, there may be rain or around 1 centimeter of snow.
Through the 21st, expected precipitation is 10–50 millimeters in Yeongdong, Gangwon, and 5–30 millimeters along the northern East Sea coast of North Gyeongsang and in the northeastern highlands of North Gyeongsang.
