BAE, KIM & LEE LLC said on the 14th that it has recruited Park Seung-hwan, former No. 1 deputy chief prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office (Judicial Research and Training Institute class 32).
Attorney Park Seung-hwan graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Law, passed the 42nd National Bar Exam, and began his career as a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in 2006. He later served as head prosecutor at the Gangneung Branch of the Chuncheon District Prosecutors' Office, director of the Criminal Proceeds Recovery Division at the Supreme Public Prosecutors' Office's Anti-Corruption and Organized Crime Department, and head prosecutor of the Criminal Proceeds Recovery Department at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office.
He was also seconded to the World Bank Stolen Asset Recovery Initiative, and served as spokesperson for the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and head of the Policy Planning Unit at the Ministry of Justice. In 2024, he was appointed as the No. 1 deputy chief prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office and left the prosecution this year.
Attorney Park is set to take on work including responses to trade secret and criminal proceeds sanctions at BAE, KIM & LEE LLC's criminal group and Global Technology Dispute Response Team, and its Export-Import Control Response Center.
