The recovery rate of government computer systems that were halted by the fire at the National Information Resources Service has approached 20%.
According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters on the 3rd, as of 10 p.m. that day, 128 (19.8%) of the 647 government administrative information systems paralyzed by the national resources fire had been restored. Among them, 21 are top-priority, grade-1 systems.
The recovery rate rose about 2.0 percentage points from the morning. This was largely due to the additional restoration of 12 public-facing systems of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
After a fire broke out on the 26th at the Daejeon headquarters of the national resources, causing major government computer networks to grind to a halt, the government mobilized all personnel and equipment to carry out recovery work.
However, after the initial phase, the recovery work has shown no clear progress, and the recovery rate has also remained stagnant.
