The Ministry of the Interior and Safety said on the 28th that despite disruptions to national information systems caused by the fire at the National Information Resources Service, applications, disbursement, and use of the people's livelihood recovery consumption coupons are operating normally.
According to the ministry, the coupon server is located at the National Information Resources Daegu Center, so there are no issues with online applications, disbursement, or use. For offline applications, disbursement, and use as well, system measures were completed over the weekend, and operations are proceeding without issue.
However, due to a disruption in the e-People system, it is difficult to file objections online, so those who need to file an objection must visit a community service center.
Changes to the usage region for coupons disbursed to credit or debit cards are also temporarily restricted due to a disruption in the resident registration system, and a separate notice will be issued when operations return to normal.
The ministry said, "A separate notice will be issued when operations return to normal," adding, "We will do our best to restore the systems as quickly as possible to minimize inconvenience to the public."
