The Ministry of the Interior and Safety said on the 28th that 30 services, including Post Office internet deposits and mobile ID, had been restored among 674 government services that were halted by the fire at the National Information Resources Service (National Resources) in Daejeon.
According to the ministry, as of 10 p.m. that day, 30 services had been fully restored. Among them, five with a large impact on the public in the Post Office's financial services are internet deposits, smart deposits, the financial products mall, internet insurance, and smart insurance. In addition, mobile ID, the senior customized care system, the Office for Government Policy Coordination Korea Customs Service main website, and the healthcare big data system have also been fully restored.
The ministry said it is prioritizing systems that affect public safety, property, and economic activity, and proceeding with recovery based on a tiered system such as system criticality.
Minister Yun Ho-jung of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety said, "We will share the situation transparently to minimize public inconvenience and do our best to maintain business continuity."
