Rain is expected in many parts of the country this weekend. It will be muggy during the day and cool in the morning and evening. The daily temperature range will widen to around 10 degrees in some areas, so take care of your health during the change of seasons.
According to the Korea meteorological Administration on the 26th, a stationary front has formed over the Korean Peninsula where cool, dry northern air meets hot, humid southern air. A stationary front forms as two different air masses collide. Starting tonight, with Jeju and the southern coast of South Jeolla at the center, rain is expected in many parts of the country through the 28th.
Over two days (26–27), Jeju will see 10–60 mm of rain; Gwangju and South Jeolla, 5–20 mm; and North Jeolla, 5 mm. On the 28th, expected precipitation is 10–50 mm in Chungcheong; 10–40 mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Gwangju, South Jeolla, North Jeolla, and the northern to central parts of North Gyeongsang; 5–30 mm in Busan, Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, Daegu, North Gyeongsang, the south, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo; and 5–20 mm on the East Sea coast of Gangwon.
The daytime high is forecast to range from 24 to 29 degrees Celsius on the 27th and from 20 to 27 degrees on the 28th. The morning low is 14 to 21 degrees on the 27th and 16 to 22 degrees on the 28th.
