A man in his 30s and an internet broadcast BJ in his 40s were indicted and detained for trial on charges of sexually assaulting his girlfriend at a pension after making her drink alcohol mixed with sleeping pills and filming the act.
The Suwon District Prosecutors' Office Women and Children Crime Investigation Department (Chief Prosecutor Son Myeong-ji) said on the 23rd that it indicted two people, including A, in custody on charges of violating the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (aggravated rape) and violating the Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (camera-use recording).
A and others are accused of sexually assaulting a woman, B, at a pension on Jebudo Island in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi, on the 27th of 4th and filming it with a mobile phone. They reportedly called B to the pension, saying they would do an internet broadcast together.
Police are investigating whether the crime scenes involving A and others were streamed on the internet.
The prosecution said, "We made the allegations, including the conspiratorial relationship, clear through thorough evidence analysis and supplementary investigation, including recorded phone calls between the suspects," and added, "We will ensure severe punishment commensurate with their crimes."
