On Monday the 15th, the daytime high will climb to 32 degrees, bringing back the heat. Some areas will see a daily maximum heat index of 33 degrees or higher, prompting heat advisories.
According to the Korea meteorological Administration, on the 15th the morning low will be 19–24 degrees and the daytime high will be 28–32 degrees.
Morning lows in major cities will be: ▲ Seoul 22 degrees ▲ Incheon 22 degrees ▲ Daejeon 21 degrees ▲ Gwangju 22 degrees ▲ Ulsan 22 degrees ▲ Daegu 22 degrees ▲ Busan 24 degrees. Daytime highs will be: ▲ Seoul 30 degrees ▲ Incheon 29 degrees ▲ Daejeon 31 degrees ▲ Gwangju 30 degrees ▲ Ulsan 30 degrees ▲ Daegu 32 degrees ▲ Busan 30 degrees.
Heat advisories are in effect for Jeju's coast and parts of South Jeolla and South Gyeongsang. Tropical nights are also expected along the Jeju coast and the west and south coasts. On the 15th, some parts of the central region are also likely to come under heat advisories.
With the sweltering weather, ozone levels in most regions nationwide on the 15th will be at "bad" levels.
